In the heart of Bella Vista, 3rd Story Philly took on a big undertaking to excavate the basement, re-build the existing structure, and add on a 3rd and 4th floor including 3 walk-out decks and a top level roof deck.  It was essentially a new construction home, but because the existing structure was 100% lot coverage on the 1st floor, doing a full demolition would have then reduced the coverage to a required 80%, shaving off 150sf!  Not insignificant.  We were thrilled by how this one came out, our favorite room being the 4th floor den with a 2 sides wood burning fireplace!
